The Mustang has been redesigned for 2010. Fresh new sheet metal wraps around an updated interior, giving the icon a more modern look and feel.

The Mustang is available either as a coupe or convertible. Each is available with a V6 or a V8. The 210-hp 4.0L V6 carries over unchanged. The 4.6L V8 receives an increase in power - producing 315-hp for 2010. A five-speed manual transmission is standard; a five-speed automatic is optional. New for this year, all Mustangs are equipped with standard electronic stability control and LED sequential tail lamps for enhanced safety. The standard aluminum wheels grow in diameter for this year - now 17" and 18"

The 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt, a reminiscent of the 1968 390 fastback model driven by Steve McQueen in the 1968 movie famous for its high speed chase, Bullitt. Like the last Ford Mustang Bullitt, power output is bumped only slightly, it's going to come in at 312 horses, thanks to the Ford Racing Power Pack. Other Ford Mustang Bullitt modifications include a retuned suspension, strut tower brace, x-pipe, new exhaust tips, V6-style grille (with pony badge removed), Tremec 3650 five speed gear box, 3:73 rear, 18" "Bullitt" wheels, and, of course, Highland Green paint.
